1) Job Title: NOC Support Engineer

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Department: Technical


Responsibilities

  • The NOC Support Engineer will be responsible for proactive monitoring of Transmission and IP devices across MainOne’s network through the support of Network monitoring systems, perform first line troubleshooting/fault isolation, resolve where necessary and escalate to other levels for support in line with MainOne’s internal processes.

Other job responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and ensure full compliance with all Main One’s NOC processes and procedures
  • Ensure proper technical documentation of all network events throughout normal/shift cycle or operations.
  • Monitor MainOne’s network providing specific update, status and performance of all network components, capacity services etc.
  • Identify and provide at least first line support on all faults on the Main One network in accordance with the Company’s standard operating procedure for fault escalation and management.
  • Answer all network support related telephone calls and interface with internal/external customers on operational issues and related network events, using Main One’s standard operating procedures.
  • Run daily and weekly management reports on network events and activities as well as tracking escalations and other key performance indicators and ensure all customer SLAs are met.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
Qualification:

  • B.Sc/HND Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the configuration, operations and maintenance of optical fiber SDH and wireless network equipment.

Skill & Competencies:

  • Skilled in Ubiquiti or Ceragon radio
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong Knowledge of DWDM/OTN technology
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills 
  • Skilled in deploying Huawei OSN series equipment
  • Strong knowledge of PtP/PtMP Microwave technologies
  • Skilled in deploying knowledge of IP devices will be a plus
  • Knowledge of basic TCP/IP configurations and troubleshooting

Demands of the Job

  • Could be required to travel to support other MainOne Operations outside the country.
  • The role is a shift based, the selected candidate will be required on work on weekends and public holidays depending on the allocated shift slot.

2) Job Title: Front Desk Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for all front desk duties like manning the switchboard, receiving, endorsing letters and applications.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Welcome clients and visitors, and ensure they are comfortable.
  • Channel client’s queries to the right department/person.
  • Provide administrative/secretarial support as and when needed.
  • Manage the distribution of office supplies.
  • Manage the booking and use of Board and Meeting rooms.
  • Receive and document all incoming and outgoing mail.

3) Job Title: Finance Officer – Receivables

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • The Finance Officer will be responsible for proper file management, easy tracing of voucher as well as ensure compliance with all accounting standards, policies, procedures, legal/statutory and Company regulation.

Other job responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and recording of accounting entries in the general ledger system.
  • Ensure the integrity of the general ledger postings.
  • Liaise with the bank for all assigned company transactions.
  • Review all new customer contracts and SOFs with supervisor, and ensure billing is done accurately.
  • Generate and ensure timely dispatch of customer invoices.
  • Posting of all customer payments timely and accurately.
  • Accurately generate credit notes to customers based on SLA when there are downtimes.
  • Confirm authorisation for all requests and obtain necessary supporting documents.

5) Job Title: Dynamics 365 & Salesforce Specialist

Responsibilities
The Dynamics 365 and Salesforce Specialist will be responsible for the following functions:

  • Integration of D365 and Salesforce with internal and external applications.
  • System configurations for all D365 Finance and Operations modules (AP, AR, FA, GL, SCM etc).
  • Development of customized dashboards and automation of all financial & business reports using business intelligence tools (Power BI, Salesforce Reporting Tool)
  • Continuous process improvement on the existing ERP- Dynamics 365.
  • Coordinate release upgrades and post-implementation system changes
  • Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external applications
  • Develop custom classes, scripts, forms, reports, dashboards, and KPIs

6) Job Title: Manager, Capital Projects

Responsibilities

  • The Manager, Capital Projects will be responsible for the management of all assigned capital projects, ensuring projects meet the agreed quality standards and are delivered on time, within budget and allocated resources.
  • He/She will also manage vendors and partners involved in projects, ensuring all projects are executed in line with MainOne business objectives and strategic plan.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and administer relevant contracts and agreements for each project.
  • Prepare reports and make presentations on all assigned projects as may be required from time to time.
  • Measure the delivery of the Technical key performance indicators (KPIs) especially as it relates to the capital projects.
  • Provide project management leadership and promote best practice in Project Management, ensuring assigned projects are delivered to agreed specifications, timelines and approved budget.
  • Design Data Centre infrastructure components in line with applicable international standards and ensure detailed and accurate specification of components.
  • Manage implementation of Data Centre projects or any other assigned Projects ensuring projects are delivered effectively and most efficiently.
  • Analyse potential project risks as well as barriers and define appropriate mitigating plans to enable timely resolution or outright avoidance.
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structure and detailed project management documentations, including milestones and responsibilities share on all assigned projects.
  • Develop processes and work standards required for the implementation of projects, and monitor compliance to ensure the set objectives are met.
  • Responsible for compliance with all Capital Projects departmental processes, keeping custody of all Departmental Process documents.
  • Guide the Technical team’s capital expenditure for the company in line with the strategic plan and report on the CAPEX spend on Capital projects, ensure consideration of financial and technical tradeoffs as well as compliance with all fiscal and regulatory parameters.
  • Perform strategic planning and financial analysis, including budget preparation and obtain necessary approvals for all capital projects.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

  • First degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and a Master’s degree in any related Engineering or Project Management.
  • PMP Certification is a requirement for this role.
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience; six (6) years in leading and directing complex projects/programmes.
  • Must be numerate with excellent Project Management and desktop research
  • Excellent engineering design skills especially in Data Centre infrastructure design.
  • Other skills such as planning and organization, budgeting, policy design and development, process improvement, negotiation, presentation and strategic planning are also required for this role.

7) Job Title: IP Engineer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • The IP Engineer will be responsible for designing, integrating and implementing IP based services on the Main One network.

Other responsibilities include:

  • IP multicast experience
  • L2 and L3 MPLS experience
  • Providing network solutions.
  • Driving the MainOne IPv6 strategy
  • Network administration and maintenance.
  • Relevant professional/technical certifications
  • Ensuring knowledge transfer for level-1 IPNOC.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving WAN/LAN connectivity issues.
  • Managing bandwidth of the IP backbone for optimal performance.
  • Performing routine checks and maintenance on all network elements.
  • Routing protocol troubleshooting experience (BGP, IS-IS OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.
  • Monitoring of network elements and ensuring prompt repair and restoration of all faulty/down sites/links.
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment such as routers, switches and firewalls.
  • Exploring existing knowledge base and make recommendation to improve he systems, solutions and processes
  • Primarily focus on all level 2 escalated issues from the GNOC for timely (<30mins) resolution with minimal supervision.

8) Job Title: Civil Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • The Civil Engineering Projects Manager will be responsible for the management of assigned projects, ensuring that the projects meet the required quality standards and timelines within approved budget.
  • He/She will also (as part of the planning process of assigned projects and to some reasonable extent) lead the design of all civil and structural works, manage vendors and partners in all areas of building/solutions and civil/structural engineering designs.
  • He/she will also execute all projects in line with the desired business objectives and ensure deliverables aligns with the strategic intent of MainOne.

  • End to end project management and delivery (Initiation, Planning, Implementation, Quality Control, Reporting, Documentation & Closure) of assigned projects and in line with overall business goals

  • Undertake initial cost estimates of project for budget purposes and ensuring Projects budgets are in line with QS standard estimates.
  • Evaluate vendor’s proposal submission and make recommendations based on qualitative and qualitative vendor analysis
  • Select products/services based on numerical analysis of available products and make constructive recommendations to the Management.
  • Research and make recommendations of cost effective solution and implementation options for projects and infrastructure

9) Job Title: Transmission Planning Engineer

  • The Transmission Planning Engineer will co-ordinate site surveys for PoPs, inclusive of Technical site survey, space management and analysis of tower loading.

10) Job Title: Credit Control Manager

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • The Credit Control Manager will manage the team responsible for following up with outstanding invoice.
  • He or she will also play a vital role in the cash flow of the organization and ensure that credit given to customers is monitored and effectively controlled in MainOne.

Other responsibilities include the following:

  • Chase debtors via telephone and email.
  • Allocate payments in accordance with customer remittances.
  • Process and generate reminder letters and monthly statements.
  • Liaise with Sales and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries.
  • Ensure that all major accounts work in agreement to cash cycle.
  • Update daily and month end reports and account reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve queries relating to non-payment of invoices.
  • Working to meet up strict monthly and annually collections targets.
  • Generate analysis and cash collection reports.
  • Full administration of the credit policy.
  • Chase Customers on WHT credit notes.
  • Rate new and existing customers based on the provisions of the credit policy.
