as a mono specialty centre and was formerly known as Cedarcrest Orthopaedic
Clinics Ltd. Within a few years the hospital expanded its scope of services and
has become a leading private multispecialty hospital. The core vision of the
organisation is to provide world class specialist healthcare services to
patients in Nigeria and the West African sub region.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

1) Job Title: Technical Manager

Location: Abuja

The Role

  • Reporting to temporarily to the
    Chief Operating Officer, the Technical Manager will be responsible
    providing technical direction for development, design and systems
    integration
  • As a technical Manager you will
    review the work involved and follow the project through testing and
    production deployment phases
  • Technical Manager will also
    ensures that there are technical procedures, documentations and standard
    policies put in place, which will be reviewed on a regular basis
  • Where complicated technical
    problems that arise, the technical manager should be able to make the
    right decisions on which solutions to implement.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Managing the
    general upkeep and maintenance of the hospitals building, machines and
    equipment’s.
  • Ensuring that the Hospital
    Facilities meets regulatory requirements as well as environmental health
    and safety.
  • Management of resources such as
    labour and cost of materials
  • Managing the implementation of
    new project estimation and execution.
  • Manpower Planning i.e.
    preparation of rosters for shifts
  • Arranging of the critical
    spares and consumables for the Hospital’s machines and equipment.
  • Providing technical training,
    coaching and direction to your team.
  • Coordination with external
    regulatory agencies like AEDC
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly report
    preparation & submission.
  • Generating cost control by root
    cause analysis
  • Responsible for preparation of
    effective preventative and predictive maintenance programme and ensuring
    that it is carried out in totality.
  • Any other duty assigned by
    management
  • Preparation of engineering
    budget
  • Performance review of the
    engineering team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
    and Electrical Engineering with other relevant certifications
  • Two to five years of managerial
    experience overseeing a diverse multispecialty hospital
  • Knowledge of engineering
    processes and procedures.

2) Job
Title: Consultant Paediatrician

The Role

  • Reporting to the Director of
    Clinical Services, the Consultant Paeditrician will be responsible for
    providing medical care for children from birth to early adulthood
  • Examines paediatric patients
    and performs or orders diagnostic tests. Diagnoses and treats the injuries
    and illnesses of babies, children and adolescents
  • Prescribes medication and
    orders appropriate treatments. Advises and collaborates with patients’
    families to educate them about various conditions and how to minimize
    their impact on children’s health
  • Records diagnoses and
    recommendations in charts and records
  • Works with other healthcare
    professionals, including paediatric nurses and nursing assistants to
    administer care.
Responsibilities
  • Examines infants and
    adolescents to evaluate their growth and development
  • Evaluates patients to diagnose
    injuries, illnesses, and developmental problems
  • Orders, performs, and
    interprets diagnostic tests, such as lab work and X-rays, to gather
    medical information and reach a diagnosis
  • Prescribes or administers treatments,
    such as medications, vaccinations, and other therapies
  • Gathers and documents patients’
    medical histories
  • Advises patients and their
    families on proper diet, exercise, and disease prevention and treatment
  • Discusses procedures and test
    results with patients and their families or guardians
  • Tracks patients’ conditions
    over time and adjusts treatments as needed
  • Documents diagnoses and medical
    impressions for record-keeping and billing purposes
  • Performs rounds at hospitals to
    monitor patients
  • Manages nursing staff and
    delegates tasks appropriately
  • Refers patients to Paediatric
    Specialists as needed.
Qualifications
  • MBBS or equivalent
  • 1 – 5 years Post Fellowship
  • Valid license to practice and
    board licensing from MDCN
  • Fellowship of the National
    Post-Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African College of
    Physicians (WACP)
  • Proficiency in patient charting
    and knowledge in relevant charting computer programs (software) i.e.
    helium plus.
  • Compassionate and personable with
    exemplary beside manners
  • Sound judgement and expert
    decision making abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    Suite.

Title: Corper Radiographer

The Role

  • Reporting to the head of Unit
    Radiology, as a Corper Radiographer, you’ll examine various types of
    images, including x-rays, computer tomography (CT) scans, mammograms,
    ultrasounds, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
  • You might operate the machinery
    used to collect these images, though this task is often delegated to
    radiology technologists.
  • Radiographers also occasionally
    monitor imaging sessions run by radiologic technologists and technicians.
Responsibilities
  • Performing diagnostic imaging
    procedures, such as MRI, CT, PET, ultrasound or mammography.
  • Communicate test results and
    their diagnosis to a patient’s primary physician through a report.
  • Obtaining patient histories
    from patient interviews
  • Keeping up to date by attending
    all relevant training on treatment and equipment;
  • Supervising and monitoring the
    work of radiography assistants and student radiographers;
  • Producing reports as and when
    required;c
